    Signature rule

IF YOU BUILT IT, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN IT.

AI can help you build. It cannot help you answer for yourself. Judges can randomly inspect any feature or code section.

    36-hour build window

The hack begins 15 Dec at 12:30 PM IST and ends 17 Dec at 12:30 PM IST. Submissions after the deadline are rejected.

    Team size 1 to 4

Solo builders or squads up to four. Every member must register; one person cannot compete in multiple teams.

    Any AI tool allowed

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, image generators, voice tools—use anything that helps you ship.

    Code defense is mandatory

Judges can inspect any feature, API, database query or AI integration. If you cannot explain it, it does not score.

    AI-assisted monitoring

Webcam, screen and tab-switch monitoring runs during the event so honest builders compete fairly.

    Original work only

Code must be written during the event. Pre-built projects, copied repos or shared solutions lead to disqualification.

    Submission requirements

A working repo, demo link and a short build log must be submitted before the deadline.

    Fair communication

Official announcements come only via registered email and the event portal. DMs from unknown accounts are not official.

    Fair play and consequences

Plagiarism, impersonation, disabling the proctor or sharing solutions means immediate disqualification from this and future editions.

    Prizes and certificates

Cash prizes for the top three teams. Participation certificates for every valid submission. Prize transfers within 7 working days after KYC.

    Questions, answered

Yes. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, AI design tools, anything. There are no restrictions on tooling.

The code defense round. Judges question your codebase feature by feature. If you cannot explain what you shipped, you cannot score on it.

Registration is completely free. Every participant receives a certificate of participation.

Yes. Teams can be 1 to 4 members. Solo builders compete in the same pool.

FUTUREHACK '26 runs fully online with AI-assisted monitoring across the 36 hours.

No. A working prototype you understand deeply beats a polished demo you cannot explain.
